THIS is the face of a man who has been jailed for multiple child sex offences.
Adam Stewart was sentenced for attempting to cause a child under 13 to look at an image of sexual activity and for attempting to cause a child aged between 13-15 to look at an image of sexual activity between May 30 2023 and February 8 2024 in Milnthorpe.
The 39-year-old, of Ryley Field Road in Milnthorpe, committed the offences for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification, a court heard.
Stewart was also sentenced for two further counts of arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sex offence between the same indictment dates.
Court records show Stewart intended to meet with who he believed to be a child in Manchester.
At Carlisle Crown Court on March 19, His Honour Judge Fanning imprisoned Stewart for seven years and three months.
He was also made the subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for life as well as being on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
