Three injured in Garsdale crash

AMBULANCE and Fire and Rescue services were called out to a collision between a heavy goods vehicle and three motorcycles on the A684 near Garsdale this afternoon.

An appliance from Sedbergh responded to the accident at 12.25pm. Ambulance personnel treated three casualties at the scene while another was conveyed to hospital by Air Ambulance.

Casualties suffered arm, leg and back injuries. One was taken to Westmorland General, one to Royal Preston Hospital and another to Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
