SPORT mania is to sweep across rural areas as youngsters are given the chance to try their hands at a number of activities during the school holidays.
Sporting activities such as cricket, golf, dodge ball, tag rugby and more much will be taking place at Sedbergh, Kirkby Lonsdale, Broughton-in-Furness, Grayrigg and Grange Over Sands.
The activities are part of South Lakeland District Council’s Multi Sport Mania 2008 for kids aged five to 11 years and will take place until August 29. For a programme of events and more information, call 0845-0504434 ext 7393.
