CREATIVE business people will be discussing their prospects at an event being held at Hawkshead Brewery, Staveley, on Tuesday, November 18, from 6pm-8pm.
Is your creative business recession proof? will give local creative businesses a chance to network and contribute to a discussion on how Cumbrian designers and craft businesses could be affected by the economic downturn, and how to take advantage of any opportunities. Speakers include Rachel Smart, a creative business consultant.
The event is being organised by Design Initiative, a business support organisation covering the North West, and the event is being funded by Cumbria County Council and Arts Council North West.
Businesses can also book one-to-one sessions, lasting one hour, with Rachel Smart during Tuesday afternoon at the Kendal offices of Cumbria Rural Enterprise Agency.
