A 19-YEAR-OLD man had to undergo emergency surgery after being seriously assaulted in the early hours of Sunday.
Police say a group of ‘young males’ attacked the man in Bridge Street, Kendal, at 2.45am, breaking his cheekbones in several places.
Officers say one of the attackers, aged around 20, was white, 6ft tall of stocky build with jet black hair.
