FIFTEEN mountain rescuers were called into action to help a 61-year-old woman who fractured her leg.
The woman, from Poland, was descending from Red Tarn, Helvellyn, on Sunday when she fell.
Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team were called at 4.41pm and gave her pain relief before re-aligning her foot and bringing her down from the scene.
She was taken to Carlisle Hospital for treatment.
