PATTERDALE mountain rescue team evacuated a young woman from the summit of Lower Man, Helvellyn today (July 24).
The woman was suffering with pain from an old injury and was unable to make her own way off the mountain around 3pm.
Patterdale MRT was assisted by members of several other Lake District mountain rescue teams in rescuing the woman.
