A FATHER and daughter duo has raised £1,400 for the British Heart Foundation after cycling from Land’s End to John O’ Groats.
David and Hannah Lavelle from Lancaster took 15 days to complete their ‘epic adventure’, averaging 65 miles a day.
“Apart from the expected soreness in the nether regions, the main danger was from drowning,” said Mr Lavelle, a partner at Kendal solicitors Thomson Wilson Pattinson. “It rained on 13 of the 15 days.”
