GHOSTS and goblins will be the order of the day at a fundraiser for Help For Heroes.
The King’s Head, in Ulverston, is holding the charity Halloween Party on Saturday (October 31) from dusk until midnight, to raise money for wounded service personnel returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
Organiser Thia Rawlinson said: “One of the oldest pubs in town, it will be even spookier dressed for Halloween. There will be prizes for those in fancy dress, an unlucky dip, some nasty surprises and – if the broomstick is mended – fortune telling.”
