HUNDREDS of pounds worth of clothes were stolen from a high street store in Kendal.

Police believed that two women and a man worked together to put £750-worth of clothes into carrier bags before leaving Monsoon, in Elephant Yard, shortly after 1.30pm on October 3.

One woman is described as being in her 40s with long red hair in a ponytail, wearing a beige jacket and carrying a Next bag.

The other woman was in her mid-30s to 40s with black hair in a ponytail and wearing a black jacket and the man was described as in his 30s or 40s, of a tanned Mediterranean complexion, with short black hair and wearing a bright, orange-tan jacket and black jeans.

Kendal police are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious in the store at the time or with any information to contact them on 0845 33 00 247.
