EDUCATION leaders from around the North West visited Dallam School to learn about its international curriculum.
Students spoke to visitors about their participation in the International Baccalaureate programme, now in its second year at Dallam, and their links with schools around the world, including the Pra River Islamic School in Ghana.
Head teacher Steve Holdup said: "As a 4th phase language college and long-standing holder of the International School Award, we have an obligation to share our expertise with others.
"We are widely recognised for our ground breaking work in international education, and it is very pleasing that so many people from around the region want to come and find out about it. Schools in the South Lakes are leading the way in many fields and this is just one example."
