MEET-TO-EAT, the Wednesday lunch at the Methodist Hall, has sent £1,324 to charities since September.
Gifts include £500 to Haiti, £324 to Worldvision and £250 to the Samaritans.
The popular event provides an opportunity to meet friends and make new ones over a meal.
The café’s volunteers serve tasty, home-cooked meals at the Methodist Hall on Wednesdays from noon to 1.30pm.
