FOURTEEN members of 1st Hawkshead Brownies, along with three Guiders, went to One World One Beat in Southport, a day of activities based around a theme of music and dance.
The District Thinking Day Party was held with an Indian theme, where the girls ate curry and did crafts and games from India.
Eight local Guiders had been to Sangam, the Guide centre in India, where they had done a two- day programme to help the local community.
Hawkshead Rainbows are seeking an extra member for the Guiders team. Anyone interested is asked to contact Judith on 015394 41245.
New members will also be welcomed by the local Trefoil Guild. Anyone who would like to join can find out more from Judith.
