THE primary school handbell team of Bethany Whitfield, Sophie Holden, Megan Thor-nley, Lauren Peers, Abbie Thornley, Bethany Clare and Hannah Dowthwaite per-formed at the tenth schools' Gala Concert at Kendal’s Queen Katherine School.
The team is taught by Judy Dyer and Audrey Wynne.
Mrs Sanders' trip to South America has been postponed due to the earthquake in Chile.
The trip may be re-arranged for the end of April, when she and a colleague from Holme School will attend a seminar in Santiago.
Three teams from school took part in the South Lakes Key Steps gymnastics contest at Cartmel.
The teams from class three and four will represent South Lakes in the county final.
Overall winners in their age groups were Lauren Peers, Charis Knipe and Jessica Wroe.
