TV FUNNYMAN Jimmy Cricket, famous for his catchphrase, C'mere, there's more', is appearing in a charity variety show at Lancaster's Grand Theatre this weekend - and tickets are still available.
The show is in aid of the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign and is being sponsored by the Bella Italia restaurant in Lancaster's Church Street.
It will be the Irish joker's first appearance at the venue despite a career stretching back more than 30 years.
Charity spokesman Charles Horton says: "Jimmy has appeared in fund-raising shows for us many times in the past few years and now the people of Lancaster have the chance to enjoy one of the funniest acts around."
Martin Gold, who has also appeared on TV many times, will compere the show, which will also feature the Shannon Irish Dancers, singers, comedians, an impressionist and a speciality illusionist.
It takes place on Sunday from 7.30pm and tickets, at £12.50 each, are available from the theatre box office or by calling 01524-64695.
