MORECAMBE is a place with real soul and is ready to prove it again with a big party night.
The resort's Seaside Soul Club will celebrate its second anniversary on Saturday, October 22 at Upstairs Downstairs.
Chairman Jason Mills says: "The music is an important part of why we're here but over the last two years the club has built a reputation across the UK Soul scene.
"Since the Central Pier days in the early Eighties, few soul nights have managed to last this long but we're still here because we have both a passionate crew and the support of people and organisations locally and nationally."
The club night at Upstairs Downstairs starts at 8pm. Admission is £2 and fans can also buy a specially designed anniversary t-shirt.
