CRICKET is in full swing for the Bank Holiday.
Kendal CC have their first home game in the Bay Northern League when hosts to Leyland at Shap Road on Saturday (1pm) while Netherfield go to Preston.
ON MONDAY, it's Netherfield's turn to entertain when Darwen visit Parkside Road as Kendal travel to Morecambe.
NETHERFIELD also have a rearranged Play-Cricket National Clubs' Knockout match at Chorley (1.30pm) on Sunday.
THE Coniston Fell Race takes place from the Institute in the village at 11am on Saturday, while the less ambitious can try the Dallam Dash road race from Dallam School at 11am on Sunday.
THE Wray Caton Moor Fell Race takes place from Wray at 2.30pm, also on Sunday.
