AN ELIZABETHAN 'Regatta' takes place in Ravenstonedale on Bank Holiday Monday organised by the village Yacht Club - with the highlight being a street galleon race starting from the King's Head at around 2pm.
More than 30 businesses have agreed to sponsor the event.
In the evening a Folk dance at the Kings Head with live music by Jump The Gun.
In addition, Ravenstonedale Folk Dance Club will be dancing to Wild Thyme who will be playing in the village for most of the day.
Money raised will go to Ravenstonedale School and the Millennium Playing Field.
