IS the Kendal area ready to start an amateur Rugby League team?
Former Ireland and Scotland amateur RL international Darren Clark believes so and is looking for any Rugby Union players who may be looking for a different challenge to come forward to start up a team.
The Hindpool forward said: "There's a lot of interest coming back in Rugby League and while the area isn't normally associated with the sport, there may be the potential out there waiting to be tapped."
If formed, the team would play in the Barrow and District League season, which starts again next September.
