A FIXTURE alteration mix-up has forced Kendal to hurriedly bring forward their final National League fixture - at home against Newbury - to tomorrow (Saturday), a week ahead of schedule.
This weekend was due to be kept blank for the Powergen Cup final, but that showpiece at Twickenham was put back a week and the message from Rugby Football Union HQ never got through to Kendal until Newbury rang up inquiring about travel details on Tuesday evening.
The game kicks off at Mint Bridge at 3pm.
