WELL-known South Lakes motorcycle racer Alan 'Bud' Jackson counts Ireland as one of his happy hunting ground after winning at the National Irish Champion-ships for the third year running.
Jackson's 250cc Suzuki beat off a 30-strong field in the Classic Race over three miles of closed roads at Skerries just outside Dublin.
The Kendal-based rider has found rich pickings across the Irish Sea, winning the 250cc Championship race on a Honda for the past two years.
