SHOWJUMPER Mollie Smith rode to a silver medal in the under 11 National winter championships.
The 11-year-old from Holme has been riding with Oxenholme Pony Club for six years, and qualified for the championships via an event at Chepstow earlier this year.
Up against 56 other riders, Mollie claimed silver overall aboard her horse Go Man Dingo – improving on her eighth place finish 12 months ago.
Her mum Melissa said: “Mollie has had an amazing two years and this is brilliant for her. ”
Mollie has enjoyed success at Morecambe Bay Riding Club where she finished as the junior points champion.
