THE Walkers, led by Doug Leyland, started from the Staveley rail crossing and, having safely crossed the A591, walked south via Ashes Coppice, Knott Hill, Capple-rigg Lane to arrive for a lunch stop at Lindeth Brow.
They returned to Staveley via Ellerbeck, Crook and Tarn Close.
