STAR gazers and science enthusiasts will be invited to view the galaxy from a different perspective when a huge model solar system is set up across a South Lakeland town, next weekend.
Astronomers have mapped out the planets using special software and Google Earth.
The free Kendal solar system trail has been organised by Eddington Astronomical Society and will take place from 12am, on Saturday 14 August, at Bridge Street bridge, towards the north of the town.
