KIRKBY Lonsdale Town Council has set a £40,000 budget for next year, which will add an average of £5.20 a year to a Band D household.
The increase provides funds for the Love the Lune regeneration and development project, as well as the possible cost of taking over the management of public toilets in Jingling Lane, which South Lakeland District Council proposes to close next March.
