CUMBRIA'S Woman of the Year has been named as Deb Muscat - a driving force behind the county's flood relief fund, formed in the wake of last November's devastating storms.
Ms Muscat, acting director of the Cumbria Community Foundation, received the accolade at a dinner at the Wordsworth Hotel, Grasmere, yesterday.
Tina Walker, a founder member of the West Cumbria Hospice at Home service, was named Cumbria Lifetime Achievement Award winner.
