MATHS whizz Midi Wang competed against 1,600 pupils to win a certificate of distinction in the Mathematical Olympiad.
The Casterton School pupil, aged 15, gained full marks on four out of the six questions and was in the top 25 per cent of those who took part. She also won a medal for being in the top 100 in her age group.
