A WOMAN has been sexually assaulted in Furness, police say.
The alleged incident took place at about 5pm yesterday in the Tesco Metro area of Roose Road, Barrow.
The female was approached and 'sexually touched' by a man aged between 50 and 60 years old and of chubby build with balding hair.
He was wearing light-coloured clothing.
The woman was uninjured and the man made off in the direction of Roose Road.
