AN evening of dance and art at the Lakes School, Troutbeck Bridge, raised £1,573 for Kendal’s CancerCare charity.
Pupils from the school and its five feeder primaries took part in ‘Fantasia 5’, a dance showcase for family and friends.
The evening was also an opportunity for students to display their art works to the public.
Head teacher Dr David Selby presented a cheque to Jenny Horsburgh from Cancer Care in a special school ceremony last week.
