STORTH’S Christine Rooney attended a Olympic basketball test event on Tuesday in her role as BT Storyteller.
Mrs Rooney was invited to the London International Basketball Invitational as part of the London Prepares series with the aim to inspire her to capture on canvas the Olympics.
Meanwhile, Westmorland Gazette sports writer Patrick O’Kane has made the next stage of selection process to become a torchbearer.
