THE cost of parking at all 42 South Lakeland District Council car parks is to remain the same following a decision made at a meeting of the cabinet.
But from April 2012 charges will be put in place after 6pm, with a £1 charge being made to park from 10pm until 8am the following morning.
The council is also proposing to reduce the four-hour tariff to £5, which is a reduction of 50p.
