A KENDAL man has been arrested after thousands of pounds worth of cannabis was seized from a property in Endmoor.
Cumbria Police executed a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act yesterday (Thursday) and found a quantity of the drug with an estimated value of between £6,000 and £7,000.
The man, 34, was detained on suspicion of cultivation and possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
He was released on bail until January 9 while inquiries continue.
Sergeant Paul Mellard, from Kendal Police, said: "I would like to take this opportunity to reassure the community that we will take action against those who insist on bringing drugs into our community.
“Information which we receive from the public is vital in combating this criminal activity.”
