ASPIRING police officers can take part in a live webchat to learn what it is like being a special constable.
Two Cumbria Police officers and a ‘Specials Co-ordinator’ will be on hand to answer questions about the role and how special constables are recruited.
Special constables are volunteers who have the same powers as police officers.
They work alongside police officers in communities mainly dealing with neighbourhood problems.
To take part in the webchat visit www.cumbria.police.uk/specials between 6pm and 8pm on Tuesday, April 17.
