Two mountain rescue teams were called out to Fairfield today, near Grasmere, where a 17-year-old has fallen and sustained a head injury.
Langdale and Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team and Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team were assisted by a Royal Navy SAR helicopter, who took the boy to Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle.
