A KENDAL wholesale business which sells meat to butchers shops and the public is expanding into the online world with a charitable twist.
Todds of Kendal has set up a new online ‘click and collect’ web shop and will make a donation for every online sale on www.toddsinkendal.co.uk.
The Station Yard business will give three per cent to charities for customers reserving products for collection from its new factory shop.
Customers can specifiy the local charity they want the money to go to or the company will donate to its two chosen charities, Macmillan Cancer Support and the Great North Air Ambulance.
Customers must spend a minimum of £4 for a contribution to be made.
Director Dan Weston said: “We are predominately a wholesale business but we have always sold directly to the public from the factory. We are really happy with the factory outlet shop and believe the Click and Collect system can benefit the consumer as well as their club or society.”
