MACDONALD Hotels & Resorts is investing just under £1million into extensive bedroom refurbishments for two of its hotels - the Old England Hotel & Spa at Bowness and the Leeming House in Ullswater.
The revamp of 25 bedrooms and four suites at the Old England Hotel will cost £500,000 while £350,000 will be spent on refurbishing 34 rooms at Leeming House.
Edward Cross, regional managing director at Macdonald Old England Hotel & Spa, said: “We have had a phenomenal trading year and are delighted to receive this investment."
