Two South Lakes businesses in list of UK's fastest growing firms
TWO South Lakeland companies - Kendal-based turbine-maker Gilbert Gilkes and Gordon, and W. McClure, a wholesale food and drinks company in Windermere - have been included in a list of the UK's fastest growing firms.
The London Stock Exchange has drawn up a list of 1,000 small to medium enterprises that are expanding at an average of 50 per cent a year.
