A SOUTH Lakes businesswoman is suggesting an innovative way for local people to clear out their clutter and blitz their bodies at the same time.

Jill Clark, who runs Maid2Clean in Cumbia, said: “Hoovering for just 30 minutes burns over 90 calories — the same as going to a kick-boxing class. Standing and ironing is a great way to tone your arms and upper body and will burn around 100 calories per hour.”

If I employ someone to do it for me (a cleaner) do they get the benefit or do I?
After all, it's my money, surely I should be the one to end up fit and well.

In fact, as people pay to go to a gym, shouldn't I charge a cleaner to do my work if they are getting the rewards?
