AN ANIMAL rights exhibition that was banned from Kendal library is causing Cumbria County Council to review their policy on library exhibitions.
The Compassion in World Farming exhibition made a fleeting appearance in Kendal library last November.
It was removed 24 hrs after going up due to a complaint that the exhibition was peddling politics and "critisising farming methods."
Penny Pullen, a campaigner for animal rights who organised the controversial exhibition, had already successfully displayed it in Grange and Barrow library before the problem arose in Kendal.
The exhibition is currently on display at Ulverston Library until Feb 8.
