Chris retired in December after five years with the National Trust at Allan Bank at Grasmere.
"I love Grasmere and that's why I started promoting it on Twitter in 2009 and it's just grown since then," she said. "It has never been more needed as Grasmere is a cul-de-sac at the moment because of the flood damage to the A591 between the village and Keswick."
