DOWDALES School has been awarded a ‘good’ grade by education watchdog Ofsted.
The Dalton school received high praise from government inspectors and was recognised for having ‘outstanding’ management and leadership.
The school, which has 1,049 pupils, was inspected over two days in November as part of a blitz of inspections by Ofsted across the county.
