STUDENTS are likely to want to go to university outside their local area, suggests new research tracking the intentions of sixth formers.
The research, based on a sample of 17,000 prospective students, was conducted by careers guidance company Cambridge Occupational Analysts.
It showed that fewer wanted to study near home in 2011 when compared to 2004.
