QUEEN Katherine School, Kendal, is to host a Fairtrade day on Monday March 2 to highlight the importance of sustainability and agricultural rights to students.
A Fairtrade farmer will attend and there will be a question and answer session also involving children from local primary schools such as Castle Park and Heron Hill, Kendal, and St Mark's, Natland.
Students will display what they have been doing for Fairtrade Fortnight, an event designed to educate the public about Fairtrade products.
