AN enterprising student is expanding his business from Cumbria into Lancashire.

Edd Snoxell, 22, set up Multi-Sports.co.uk in 2013, providing sports camps for children in the hope of inspiring them to get involved with physical activity outside school.

He hosted several courses for children aged five to 13 around Carlisle and he will now host a new camp in Lancaster at the University of Cumbria's sports complex.

Edd is studying PGCE Schools Direct in Secondary Physical Education at the University of Cumbria, who helped fund his venture.

The first camp will run on February 16-17 from 9am-3pm.

Edd said: “I’m so excited to be bringing Multi-Sports to Lancaster. We want to build on our success in Carlisle and bring Lancaster children a unique sporting experience. The equipment and facilities are really great and we’ll be able to offer an amazing range of sports and opportunities.”

The camp costs £30 for two days.
