The British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) is claiming that grouse shooting brings benefits to the economy and environment in an infographic being sent to MPs as the season closes on December 10. It claims that grouse shooting supports conservation work worth an estimated £100 million a year and supports the equivalent of more than 2,500 jobs.
