Topping the sale at 199.0p/kg was a single Beltex prime lamb from Messrs Bindloss, Shap Abbey, purchased by Mr S Stodart, Wigton. Top price per head on the day was £84, this was paid for a single Beltex lamb from Mr WL Grainger, Eamont Bridge Farm, bought by Mr J Tucker. Prime lambs were seen to be a shade sharper, averaging 147.29p/kg SQQ.
