NOMINATIONS are wanted for the High Sheriff of Lancashire's young citizen of the year award.
Anyone 21 or under can be nominated for the prize which aims to honour help given to the local community, an individual, family, or organisation in the last year.
The High Sheriff of Lancashire Robert Webb said he is especially keen to hear about initiatives that have helped make local communities safer and better places to live
The winner will receive £500 and there are two runner-up prizes of £100 each.
The closing date for nominations is Wednesday, January 31.
All finalists will be invited to attend a presentation at Lancashire Constabulary Headquarters in March 2017
