Diamond Jubilee: Morecambe bids for record bash

A GIANT Jubilee street party in Morecambe could break a record next week.

The event is to take place on June 3 and will stretch past both sides of the Midland Hotel and Eric Morecambe statue.

The town is attempting to break the record of 1.5 miles, currently set by a Devon village.
