Minister casts her spell at new-look Brockhole centre

OPEN DAY: Caroline Spelman MP at Brockhole with national park authority deputy chair-man Sir John Kerr and chief executive Richard Leafe.
ENVIRONMENT minister Caroline Spelman opened the new-look Brockhole Visitor Centre at Windermere yesterday.
After arriving by boat at the Brockhole jetty, she met national park chiefs to cut a ribbon to officially open new exhibitions and an indoor education area.
The refurbishment also features new exhibitions, Best of British merchandise and an indoor ‘play and learn’ area.
