This picture is of a fisherman from Bolton-le-Sands who regularly went out cockling on the sands in Morecambe Bay.
The name on the cart is partially obscured but seems to read R Watson, Fisherman, Bolton-le-Sands. Cockles would be raked from the sand and placed in baskets.
